When looking for the top design trends for 2021, we turned to no other than Stella & Sloan Home. Stella & Sloane Home is an Online Home Shoppe (Coming Spring 2021) carefully curating pieces with a dynamic mix of vintage, modern and a timeless coastal sophistication. Co-founded by two sisters, Jessica and Kendra are incredibly excited to finally pursue their dream of not only owning a business together, but also a business and brand centred around home decor, lifestyle and creativity. Their passion began at a young age. Jessica grew up very close to her mom, who worked as a seamstress, and watched her sew hundreds of covers for pillows, couches, seat covers for chairs and banquets. She quickly became intrigued with using colour, textiles and textures to help transform into beautiful spaces. Clean lines, light and airy spaces inspire her to help curate refined, textural and organic products for the Stella & Sloane Shoppe. Growing up, Kendra always had a creative side that needed to be explored. After graduating from her Bachelor of Public Relations program, she was constantly looking for opportunities that would allow her to be creative and incorporate her love for design. During her career she worked in event planning, graphic design, web design, web development, branding, and consulting - Kendra soon realized that home design & decor were her true passions in life. Having worked several years for a builder & developer, she had the opportunity to see the entire design & build process from start to finish. From working with architects on custom homes, master-planned communities and subdivisions, to designing and decorating model homes - she was able to do what she loved, but also gather a wealth of information that inspired her to leave corporate life and take the plunge with her best friend and sister to create Stella & Sloane Home.

Earthy Tones
We are seeing clean, relaxing spaces with sand & stone neutral palettes with soft pops of colour. Earthy tones such as browns, creams, dark green, deep blues, and greys will help to create the perfect retreat.
Natural Accents
More natural accents, from rattan, cane, to seagrass décor pieces. These types of accents will add texture & a natural feel to any room.
Floral & Greenery
Indoor plants, real, faux or dried; they can breathe life into any room and also add colour, texture and dimension.
Natural, Refined Coastal Inspiration
Plenty of natural and/or organic texture can provide visual interest and still allows you to stay within a relaxing & calming neutral palette.
Classic Modern Rustic & Vintage
Classic Modern Rustic & vintage-inspired elements, with a neutral palette help with mixing styles for a sophisticated, elevated, and timeless feel/look. You can still have a deep contrast in a neutral space!
